Floyd-Fogleman Honored in Myrtle Beach HTC recently announced the winners of its 2005 Hometown Heroes Awards and our President, Tami Floyd-Folgeman was among those recognized!

This award recognizes those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in serving their communities. Through their devotion of tireless hours of service, the Hometown Heroes Award winners have genuinely made a difference in the lives of others in need of assistance.

Tami Fogleman, the owner of Tami and Company, works with the Look Good Feel Good program in Horry County to provide wigs and cosmetic services for cancer patients. She organizes golf tournaments to raise money to purchase wigs, cuts or trims the wigs to fit the person at no charge and conducts classes on how to wrap scarves to create head cover and how to apply make up to cancer patients. Tami even travels to patients’ homes if they are not able to come in to her shop. She collects hair for the Locks of Love program and participates in various events in the community to collect donors’ hair that is used to make high quality wigs. Tami helps many cancer patients in her community regain and maintain their confidence and self-esteem through this program. She is so giving of her time and talent for those who desperately need her help.

The HTC Hometown Heroes Award winners were recognized at a luncheon on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 in Conway, SC.
