Brad Ballington, of Ladys Island, SC has been re-elected to serve the ACSP as President for 2010 - 2011. Ballington was elected on April 19, 2010 during the ACSP State Convention held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

At the 2010 Awards Reception on Sunday, April 18 more outstanding Association members were also recognized - including the Board of Directors and Affiliate Presidents for their service over the past year.
The Affiliate President of the Year Award is based on an affiliate President's accomplishments in membership, certifications, attendance at meetings, report submission and other criteria. The 2010 Affiliate President of the Year recipient is Dee Fullerton, Affiliate #5 in Spartanburg, SC.
The Outstanding Educator of the Year Award gives consideration to nominees based on their accomplishments dealing with education on any level such as for ACSP, the cosmetology industry and any education dealing with cosmetology related events. The 2010 Outstanding Educator of the Year Award recipient is Carol Toney of Myrtle Beach, SC.
The David E. Bagwell Award (Professional Member of the Year) recognizes cosmetologists on what they have done to upgrade and promote the cosmetology profession by activities supported on the state and local level. The 2010 David E. Bagwell Award recipient is Mary Grace Puckett of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A dedicated and hardworking member of ACSP was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010 - Tami Floyd-Fogleman. The Hall of Fame recognizes members and non-members who have made outstanding contributions to the cosmetology profession. Congratulations Tami!
The 6th Annual Blue Ribbon Awards were voted on by the FEC members to recognize their peers for outstanding service. The Blue Ribbon winners for 2010 are:
